1. Aims & Objective

The Society aims to promote the welfare of its members and contribute to the betterment of the community. Our key objectives include:

  • To promote welfare schemes for the benefit of the Members of the Society.
  • Improvement of environment through greening and development of city forests.
  • Promotion of Social Welfare activities conducive to the protection and improvement of the environment (including forests, lakes rivers and wildlife), compassion for living creatures, literature, science, sports, games or the fine arts.
  • To extend assistance and support to the members of the Society and their families in times of distress and need.
  • To foster cordial relations and esprit decorps among members of the Society and their families.
  • To render assistance to members of the Society in acquiring suitable accommodation and facilities for good community living, and to take all necessary action like planning, acquisition and development of Land, arboriculture, for the development of appropriate housing and eco-friendly habitat.
  • To improve knowledge, skills and efficiency of its Members by organising Seminars/Group discussions/Lecturers/Symposia etc. from time to time.

2. General

All the income, earnings, moveable, immovable properties of the Society shall be strictly utilised and applied towards the promotion of its Aims and Objects only as set forth in the Memorandum of the Society and no profit on thereof shall be paid or transferred directly or indirectly by way of dividends, bonus, profits, or in any manner whatsoever to the present or past Members of the Society or to any person claiming through any one or more of the present or past members. No member of the Society shell have any personal claim on any moveable or immovable properties of the Society or make any profit, whatsoever, by virtue of his membership.

3. Rights and Privileges of the Member

  • Members only shall be entitled to attend the meetings of the Society and to vote therein
  • All members shall have unrestricted access to the Society and shall have the right to make use of any and all the facilities, conveniences and services provided by the Society subject to the rules, the Bye Laws and other stipulations duly framed by the Managing Committee, on payment of requisite charges
  • All members shall be subject to and bound by the Rules and Regulations of the Society and its Bye Laws. In the event of any dispute whatsoever in this regard, the decision of the Managing Committee shall be final
